Dearest Mom, Dad, and All,
Received you letter yesterday and was sure looking for it.
I am very glad that you like the furniture. But don't you say that it is too swell mom, because nothing is too swell for a mother like you. But don't think that that is all I am going to get for you. Just as soon as I get this paid up I have more plans. But don't forget that it isn't only from me but George has $30.00 in it also.
Yes mom, I got my rating as planned so everything is O.K. I will be home Sat. with my stripes.
So Mrs. Britt (I shouldn't say Mrs. Britt, I know that isn't her name anymore but I have been so used to calling her that, that it slipped), Jerry's mother is at home now? I'm sorry she isn't well, but be sure and tell her hello for me, and if she is still there Sat., we will see her then. I don't know what time we will be home Sat. but we will be there. Take good care of yourself and Jerry's mother mom, and give my love to all.
Rex and Ray
